Conceptualized brand identity and packaging design for a Walmart-exclusive refrigerated and frozen food product line.
Role Scope: Art Direction – Brand Identity – Packaging Design
The brief was to design CPG packaging for a frozen foods line that would be sold exclusively at Walmart but also offered as a bonus promo for a DRTV cookware commercial. The challenge was designing a product to serve both Retail and TV demographics.
This cross-merchandising effort provided a unique opportunity to test our products in two competing markets. The Trusted Butcher knives were marketed on DRTV and upon purchase, customers received an in-store promotion to Trusted Butcher meals. The retail concept packaging highly emphasized sharp food imagery and bold typography for impactful attention-grabbing shelf labels.
